Grant Application

How Funding Works

We know how incredibly stressful it is when your pet faces a crisis and medical costs feel out of reach. We understand the heartbreak of struggling to afford even the initial exam. However, because we provide funds directly to licensed veterinary facilities for emergency or palliative care, we must have a written treatment plan and itemized estimate from a licensed veterinarian before we can review any request.

Important: We do not issue verbal authorizations, provide grants to reimburse costs already paid, nor pay individuals directly.

Step 1: Intial Exam

Have your veterinarian examine your pet to provide a detailed treatment plan and itemized cost estimate. (Please note that we cannot reimburse the cost of this initial exam.)

Step 2: Submit Request

Complete the form below with all requested details about your pet’s emergency. Then reply to our email with the treatment plan, cost estimate, and photos of your pet.

Step 3: Board Review

Our Board reviews each request carefully. We prioritize urgent, life-saving needs. We complete requests as quickly as possible, typically within 24–48 hours.

Step 4: Vet Payment

If approved and funds are available, we will notify you and send payment authorization directly to the veterinary facility so your pet can receive care quickly.

APPLICATION STATUS

We Are So Sorry.

Our Emergency Veterinary Funds Request Form is temporarily closed.

Our emergency veterinary grant funds are currently fully depleted, and we cannot accept new applications at this time.

Please know that we understand how stressful this moment is for you and your family. We are actively working to secure more funding to help pets in need.

What this means for you:

  • Check back: As soon as new funding becomes available, the application form will reappear here.
  • Immediate needs: We encourage you to search online for alternative local or national veterinary aid charities, non-profit animal clinics, or community fund programs that may offer immediate assistance.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and above all, for taking such dedicated care of your pet.
